Billions is seeking a part-time intern to work from the Chicago office. This intern will work with the office administrator to produce and maintain content for our website and help maintain our presence on social networks. The intern will assist in writing content for our website based on research from music blogs and other publications. This will require a basic working knowledge of HTML and comfort working with FTP clients and image editing software. We strive for a professional tone in all of our online content and the candidate will be expected to adhere to strict posting guidelines. The intern will also assist with ticket counts and organizational projects.
The internship is primarily focused on social media and web but with proper interest, aptitude, and available time, one could pick up more focused sponsorship and marketing focused industry work.
This position is unpaid. The internship is ideal for someone looking to build a resume in the music industry and/or in online content and marketing management. Preference will be given to candidates receiving school credit. The internship will run from June 1 – August 31. Candidates must be available on a steady schedule for 2-3 days a week for the duration of the internship.
Requirements: Competency with HTML, familiarity with social networking technology, a clear professional demeanor in written communications, unwavering discretion with confidential information, consistent weekday availability, a genuine passion for music, and knowledge of the company roster.
