New Track: Wu-Tang Clan – “Execution in Autumn”
Wu-Tang Clan premiered a new song, “Execution in Autumn,” via the group’s Bandcamp. The track is off an exclusive 7″ that the band is releasing as a “name-your-price” offering through May 31st. The Moondoggies have released a new song, “Red Eye,” via The Big Takeover. The track is the first single off their third full-length, Adios, I’m a Ghost, due out August 13th on Hardly Art. Stream ”Red Eye” and catch The Moondoggies on tour.
New Track: The Dodos – “Confidence”
The Dodos premiered a new song, “Confidence,” via Pitchfork. The track is on the band’s forthcoming album, Carrier, set to be released August 27th on Polyvinyl. The band has said the new album was inspired by the death of touring guitarist Christopher Reimer last year, after joining The Dodos in 2011. Citing the impact the death had on the band, guitarist and singer Meric Long said, “Chris was a huge influence on the way I think about guitar, songwriting, and music in general.” Listen to “Confidence” below.
Video: Vampire Weekend on Fallon
Vampire Weekend were musical guests on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.” The band performed “Ya Hey” for the regular broadcast and “Everlasting Arms” for an exclusive webcast. Both tracks are off the recent album, Modern Vampires of the City, out now on XL Recordings. Young Galaxy debuted a video for the song “Fall For You,” via Pitchfork. The track is off the album Ultramarine, out now via Paper Bag Records. Vampire Weekend were musical guests on last week’s episode of Saturday Night Live. The band performed two songs, “Diane Young” and “Unbelievers,” both off their third full-length, Modern Vampires of the City, out tomorrow (May 14th) on XL Recordings. Billions Welcomes Valerie June
Billions would like to proudly announce the newest addition to our roster, Valerie June. The singer-songwriter hails from the small town of Humboldt, Tennessee and grew as an artist while living in Memphis, Tennessee. Hers is a stunningly emotive amalgamation of blues, folk, gospel, soul, Appalachian and bluegrass. She exists, however, today, an artist as modern as an iPod Shuffle, a musician for the generation which carries the entire history of recorded music so casually inside its phone.

Telekinesis premiered a video for the song “Empathetic People.” The track is off the album Dormarion, out now via Merge Records.
