Produced by Dave Cooley, (Silversun Pickups, J Dilla), Darker My Love's sophomore album, '2', is awash with the same feedback-filled guitars and pounding rhythms that made its debut a standout but coupled now with a newfound sense of melody. Over 11 tracks, the quintet, rounded out by new member Will Canzoneri on organ, demonstrates its love for fuzzy, reverb-laden rock and roll and sunburnt harmonies that stick in your head long after the needle has left the groove.
