Artist Biography

Greco-Roman, the influential Berlin-London party collective and record label that has been a home for Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Disclosure and Hot Chip's Joe Goddard, are proud to announce their latest signing Baio, the new solo project from Chris Baio of Vampire Weekend. Baio's debut SUNBURN EP will be released on May 21st, with launch parties in New York on May 25 at Le Bain and in London June 15 at XOYO.

Three tracks equally at home on the dance floor and the reading chair, SUNBURN is the realization of an aesthetic developed over countless DJ gigs from 2009-2012. The EP marks Baio's return to his college-era roots as DJ and music director of Barnard's WBAR.
